I am a mixed media painter working with oil, acrylic, ink, and layered mark-making to explore feminine forms, saturated color, and intuitive rhythm. My work balances expressive, abstract backgrounds with more intentional figures and florals that are recognizable but not realistic.

I began drawing and painting at a young age, I never wanted to play with dolls or toys I was either outside using my imagination playing in the trees or wanted to draw and create. After stepping away from art during my military service, I returned to painting later with a quieter, more personal approach, creating without an audience and allowing experimentation to guide my work. Much of my practice today is self-taught through observation, reading, and hands-on exploration.

Music plays an important role in my studio practice, creating a rhythmic, immersive space where the process becomes calm and focused. Some pieces carry subtle emotion, while others exist simply as vibrant, visually rich compositions. Each painting is created to be lived with, offering warmth, movement, and presence within a space.
